MIDAS is a drum & bass fusion formed by SVB and Scepticz, two experienced selectors, producers, and curators who have been active in the scene for many years and earned their stripes on and off the dance floor. Their roots lie deep in Belgian drum & bass culture, where they were involved for years as DJs, organizers, and tastemakers. Midas emerged from that shared background as a logical extension of a lifelong dedication to the music. In 2020, they founded Midas Touch Recordings together in Antwerp – a platform built out of love for the underground, with a focus on quality, identity, and community.

Today, Midas operates between the Netherlands and Italy, but it is precisely that distance that has broadened their perspective. Their sound is not a fixed genre, but is ranging from deep minimal and soulful drum & bass to powerful, dancefloor-oriented selections, always with a clear common thread.

Their DJ sets are journeys – dynamic, flexible, and carefully constructed with attention to flow, tension and crowd connection.
