Unreal State è una performance immersiva per una persona alla volta che trasforma la città in un percorso tra realtà e finzione. Guidat da un'app, chi partecipa attraversa lo spazio urbano ascoltando voci, ricevendo istruzioni e compiendo scelte. Tra fantascienza e satira, il lavoro riflette sul rapporto con gli smartphone e su come le tecnologie digitali influenzino il nostro modo di abitare il mondo, immaginando un futuro in cui offrono non solo servizi, ma anche identità e appartenenza.

Marcos Krivocapich (Buenos Aires, 1996) è autore, marionettista e artista multimediale. La sua ricerca esplora la sperimentazione tra formati e linguaggi, la satira politica e il modo in cui i problemi contemporanei vengono plasmati dalle nuove tecnologie della comunicazione. Nel 2019 co-fonda estudio qp, con cui crea spettacoli quali PIRAMIDAL (2023) ed EL SUCESO (2024). Il suo progetto più recente, Unreal State, sviluppato nell'ambito della IN SITU Platform, è una performance urbana immersiva che combina spazio pubblico, tecnologia mobile e narrativa speculativa.

León Siewert-Langhoff (Berlino, 1990) è regista e programmatore con base tra Berlino e Londra. Formatosi in musica classica, si avvicina al teatro lavorando al Maxim Gorki Theater come assistente alla regia, collaborando con registi quali Frank Castorf e Yael Ronen. Durante la pandemia intraprende una nuova formazione come software engineer: la sua pratica attuale unisce teatro e tecnologia, sviluppando strumenti digitali per contesti educativi e performativi.

Unreal State is an immersive one-to-one performance that turns the city into a journey between reality and fiction. Guided by a mobile app, participants follow instructions, listen to voices and make choices while moving through urban space. Blending science fiction and satire, the work explores our relationship with smartphones and imagines a future where digital technologies offer not only services, but also identity and belonging.

Marcos Krivocapich (Buenos Aires, 1996) is an author, puppeteer and multimedia artist. His research explores experimentation across formats and languages, political satire and the ways contemporary issues are shaped by new communication technologies. In 2019 he co-founded estudio qp, with which he created works such as PIRAMIDAL (2023) and EL SUCESO (2024). His most recent project, Unreal State, developed within the IN SITU Platform, is an immersive urban performance combining public space, mobile technology and speculative narrative.

León Siewert-Langhoff (Berlin, 1990) is a director and programmer based between Berlin and London. Trained in classical music, he moved toward theatre working at the Maxim Gorki Theater as assistant director, collaborating with directors including Frank Castorf and Yael Ronen. During the pandemic he trained as a software engineer: his current practice combines theatre and technology, developing digital tools for educational and performative contexts.
