DIY Magazine and Gotobeat present DIY Alive 2026

A full day of live music, talks, Q&As and more, DIY Alive 2026 will once again bring the spirit of DIY Magazine to the heart of East London. DIY Alive offers a unique, one-of-a-kind live experience - celebrating new music and exploring the creative industries surrounding it via a specially curated line-up, hands-on sessions, and talks from artists and industry experts alike. This year’s event will take place in three different locations at Dalston’s EartH - a landmark venue that perfectly embodies the spirit of independent, community-driven culture.

We're thrilled to announce that longtime DIY favourites Sports Team will headline the event - after first playing on one of DIY’s live bills almost a decade ago - while they’ll be joined by a stellar cast of acts including Coventry post-punk band FEET, Irish singer-songwriter Nell Mescal and Glaswegian alt-rockers Walt Disco. With live music taking place across the venue’s two stages, there’ll be plenty more announcements coming very soon.

*For more information on access at EartH, please see our FAQs here: https://bit.ly/44dzl75 or contact us at access@earthackney.co.uk*

*EartH is a social enterprise committed to supporting new musicians, with music studios in the venue that are completely free for young artists in Hackney to use. Find out more here (https://earthackney.co.uk/about/studio-36/).*
