Description

Club Bananas invites you to join us for an inclusive and relaxed collaging-making session!

The theme for the event is: “Community”. Celebrating the wonderful supportive community active in South London. We will explore this theme of “community” whilst engaging in this community based art activity of collaging.

Prompts include: connection, friendship, love, admiration, shared spaces, support, family, solidarity and respect.

All abilities welcome - no previous art experience necessary!

For anyone new to Club Bananas Events, a bit more about who we are and what we do:

Club Bananas is an exciting new art club focused on; craft-making; collaging; and experimenting with different art practises. The club highlights the use of recycled items and scrap materials to bring new pieces to life. (Led by local artist, Banana Holdwin).

An inclusive space for fellow creatives to create care-free artwork, without the stiffness of classical art classes. Experimental and low-pressure with a focus on having fun and enjoying the process. A chance to let your inner child be free and be messy! As well as an opportunity to meet and chat with other artistic individuals.

Each month will have a different theme, but mixed media will be a constant thread and there will always be space for attendees to bring their own work or choose where they want to take the practise.

All materials are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own; art supplies, books, magazines, postcards, stickers etc!)

Presented by The Arbuthnot Group Ltd.
