Hailing from Kent, **Jay Malakhi** blends UK alternative rap with soul and contemporary US hip-hop to shape a sound that is entirely his own. The release of his debut EP in early 2025 established Jay as one of the most exciting new voices in London’s hip-hop scene, with a growing fan base drawn to his distinctive style and standout live performances with his band.

ORII was created to serve and uplift the artist community. Right now, running two weekly jams no longer serves us or you the way it used to. To protect our community, the spirit of ORII, and ensure everyone is properly paid, valued, and respected, we are initiating the ORII REBIRTH.

Starting July 6th, we are transitioning to 4 landmark events per month:

**✨ Week 3: ORII EAST + ORII SOUTH (Special Event, Themed & Takeovers)**

We are working to make ORII more intentional, higher value, and sustainable for the next generation of London's creative community.

**This week we invite MEZZO**

Hailing from East London, **Mezzo** is an artist with a genre-blending sound that refuses to be boxed in. Best known for founding the live music movement **Mezzo’s Corner**, he’s built a platform that celebrates authentic expression, community, and emerging talent—all driven by his mantra: “**Mezzo’s Corner to the World**.”

After a brief hiatus from the live music scene, **Mezzo** returns with renewed purpose, ready to share his story, reconnect through his music, and continue creating spaces where artists can be seen, heard, and celebrated. Expect an unforgettable performance that blends raw energy, heartfelt lyricism, and the spirit of community that defines **Mezzo’s Corner**.
