New Zealand pianist and composer Jonathan Crayford premieres his new project, Transformations, at Ladbroke Hall. Joined by Zhenya Strigalev (saxophone), Orlando le Fleming (bass), and Ernesto Simpson (drums), this world premiere blends Afro-Cuban rhythms with contemporary jazz in Crayford's unmistakably original style.

Recognised as one of New Zealand's most innovative musical voices, Crayford has performed with acclaimed artists including Kurt Rosenwinkel, David Murray, Groove Collective, and Mambo Macoco. His music reflects decades of international collaboration across New York and Europe, earning praise for its creativity, richness, and emotional depth.

This special debut performance marks the very first live presentation of Transformations, offering audiences an exclusive opportunity to experience a brand-new work from an internationally celebrated composer.
