IO VOMITO YUAN nasce dall'omonimo libro scritto da Yuan, un testo visionario che intreccia politica, fantascienza, filosofia e questioni di genere in una scrittura frammentata e performativa. Portando queste parole sulla scena, la performance riflette sulla condizione dell'artista contemporanea, sull'esperienza di vivere in un Paese straniero e sulle contraddizioni del sistema dell'arte e delle sue istituzioni.

Motus nasce nel 1991 come compagnia nomade e indipendente fondata da Enrico Casagrande e Daniela Nicolò. Il loro lavoro intreccia arte e impegno civile, affrontando temi di confine come identità, genere e postumanesimo. Tra i riconoscimenti: quattro Premi UBU e il Premio della Critica. Yuan Hu (Hangzhou, Cina, 1998) è performer e artista. La sua ricerca mira a creare una nuova lingua performativa capace di oltrepassare confini culturali, estetici e linguistici attraverso voce, corpo, suono e relazione.

IO VOMITO YUAN is based on Yuan's visionary book, which weaves together politics, science fiction, philosophy and gender through a fragmented, performative language. Bringing these words into the performance space, the work reflects on the condition of the contemporary artist, the experience of living in a foreign country, and the contradictions of the art world and its institutions.

Motus was founded in 1991 as a nomadic and independent company by Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò. Their work interweaves art and civil engagement, addressing border themes such as identity, gender and posthumanism. Among their awards: four Premio UBU and the Premio della Critica. Yuan Hu (Hangzhou, China, 1998) is a performer and artist. Their research aims to create a new performative language capable of crossing cultural, aesthetic and linguistic borders through voice, body, sound and relation.
