Do you remember the feeling of making a fort out of boxes? The whimsy of a world of card dissolving your boredom.

Well for one night only the Hootananny’s dance floor will be transformed into a playful up-cyled installation of all things cardboard by local artist @by5ebastian. You’ll be able to cut some shapes amongst the cardboard cutouts to box away all your troubles!

Live music will be from 8:00pm with the indefatigable headliners being GLOOP UNIT, an electronic jazz quad of unparalleled funk as well as the felt like folk music of CHARLIE FORREST. Following three live acts DJ sets will carry us into the night with special guest YCHAN. All the way from Paris she blends break beat, bass, baileviet and V-pop into a sound you won’t want to miss.

Think outside the box as Ticket holders are encouraged to bring a cardboard inspired outfit, prop or accessory of their own making to adorn in the castle of card.

So kickstart your bank holiday weekend the right way with a playful evening of creativity, craft and dance!
