Celebrate the release of Mondo Love & Betrayal's acclaimed self-titled debut album with an intimate evening of conversation & music at Rough Trade Nottingham.

Released on NuNorthern Soul, the album is an elegant collection of sophisticated synth-pop, inspired by the golden era of British electronic music while sounding fresh & contemporary. Praised by DJs, radio presenters & music writers alike, it has been recognised for its timeless songwriting, rich production & immersive listening experience.

The evening begins with a Q&A hosted by Simon Rudkin, Principal Lecturer in Fashion Communication & Promotion and Creative Direction & Curation for Fashion at Nottingham Trent University. With more than 30 years' experience across the music, fashion & lifestyle industries, Simon has worked with major & independent record labels, platinum-selling artists & leading brands.

Following the discussion, Mondo Love & Betrayal will take to the decks for a specially curated DJ set featuring selections from the album alongside records that have influenced their sound. Expect synth-pop, electronic music, Balearic grooves & leftfield classics.

Copies of the album will be available on the night, with the opportunity to meet the band afterwards.
