Combining elements of post-rock, metal, trip-hop and industrial noise, Bristol’s HAAL have quickly become cult favourites in the UK live scene.

Their psychotropic blend of sampling, DIY home-crafted effects pedals, monolithic instrumentation and immersive live visuals has seen the band play and tour alongside the likes of Toe, Machine Girl, Famous, DITZ, Arab Strap and Water From Your Eyes, as well as appearing at festivals such as ArcTanGent, Outer Waves Dot To Dot, Wanderlust, Outer Town & many more.

Coming off the heels of their recent singles and subsequent remixes by Squid + Water From Your Eyes, the band’s debut EP ‘Back To Shilmarine’ arrived as a blistering snapshot of the band's protean dynamism.

‘Back To Shilmarine’ celebrates the culmination of all of their influences, exploring themes of cosmic revelation and despair, all whilst set to an uninhibited maelstrom of sound spanning everything from intricate math-infected guitar lines to guttural screams, propulsive drumming to totemic riffing, all rounded off with synth-sponsored eeriness and intrigue.
