VERSES Poetry Night, one of the best kept secrets in the spoken word scene, is teaming up with the Museum of Youth Culture for a special edition this September.
Join us on Tuesday 15th September for an evening of live poetry exploring our first ever theme: Youth.
From first loves to first losses, growing pains to growing up, the poems performed throughout the evening will reflect on the moments, memories and milestones that shape who we become. Hosted inside the Museum of Youth Culture in Camden, this collaboration invites audiences to celebrate youth in all its forms—nostalgic, messy, joyful, rebellious and everything in between.
VERSES provides a platform for some of the best spoken word talent from across the country, championing everyone from established poets to first-time performers. Seeking to make poetry accessible and affordable, our events are inclusive, welcoming spaces where stories of race, gender, relationships, sexuality, mental health and lived experience take centre stage.
As always, we'll be bringing you some of the very best poets on the scene.
