Existance for Resistance

Existence for Resistance puts four distinct bodies of work into conversation across one night, spoken word, experimental theatre and techno beats, treating language and rhythm as art forms revealing the nuances and hidden stories inside pain, rebellion and search for belonging, and pushing back against the flattened, singular versions of those stories we're usually given.

Bringing together Franko B, Ash Kotak, Shabnam Shahbazi and Deen/ø, artists working across voice, electronic music and performance, the event unfolds through a series of live sets that blur the boundaries between narrative and beat, text and the vibration of a dance floor.

The evening is structured as a fluid progression, where different but interconnected bodies of work guide a shared journey, held through a pendulation between moments of dance and collective witnessing.
