Dr Simon Paton is a bassist and composer working at the intersection of classical training, contemporary improvisation and fearless experimentation. This is intimate, exploratory music—the kind of performance where every note is a choice and silence is just as important as sound.

Support comes from House of Quiet. With a 20 year history of improvisation behind him, JG Davidson performs as House Of Quiet. Centred around textural ambient work, House Of Quiet makes long-form improvised music with guitar, voice and radio.
