JIM is the solo project of James Baron, best known as one of the founding members and creative forces behind Crazy P.

While Baron has spent over 25 years shaping dancefloors with Crazy P and his acclaimed Ron Basejam alias, JIM reveals a completely different side to his songwriting. Drawing inspiration from Jackson C. Frank, Terry Callier, Crosby, Stills & Nash and Ned Doheny, his music blends folk, soul and understated electronics into something warm, timeless and deeply personal.

His 2023 debut album Love Makes Magic quietly became one of the year's sleeper successes, earning widespread praise for its intimate songwriting and soulful sound.

This October, JIM brings his captivating live show to Faith In Strangers.
