Afrique Express

After a few international stops in Lisbon and Copenhagen over the summer, DJ Afrodesi’s Afrique Express returns to SJQ on 02 October, joined by special guest Henri Gaobi, master percussionist from Côte d’Ivoire, for another celebration of dance music from Africa, the Antilles and beyond.

Expect rare Afro-funk, driving Afrobeat, heavy disco grooves, vintage Afro-Cuban salsa, Congolese rumba and more. 100% wax.

Packed with pure analogue heat, deep basslines, hypnotic brass and live percussion, Afrique Express will keep the floor moving from 10pm until late.
