La Zorra Zapata is the project of Peruvian artist Nuria Zapata, blending voice, loops and rhythmic experimentation into a singular form of experimental pop. Across three albums, she has become a distinctive voice in Peru’s independent scene, most recently with QUEMA O ILUMINA.

Joining her is Tipa Tipo, the Peru–US project of Adele Fournet and Felipe Wurst, blending ’70s soft rock, disco and Peruvian cumbia into what they call “tropical yacht rock en español.” Now based in New York, they arrive in Berlin in trio format ahead of their new album Arquetipas, which also features a collaboration with La Zorra Zapata.
