VERSES Poetry Night: 8th Birthday Special

VERSES is turning eight. 🎈🎈🎈

Eight years of poems, open mics, packed rooms, first-time performers, established voices and a community that has grown with us along the way.

On Thursday 22nd October, we're celebrating our eighth birthday with a very special edition of VERSES, returning to Dona at their new home beneath Voodoo Ray's in Dalston.

For eight years, VERSES has been about making poetry accessible, affordable and welcoming. We've created space for some of the best spoken word talent from across the country, while keeping the mic open for anyone with something to say – whether you're an experienced performer or sharing your work for the very first time.

For our birthday, expect everything we love about a VERSES night: brilliant live poetry, our much-loved open mic, music, drinks and a room full of people brought together by words.
