POP TALK x Expo w/ Photographer Rebecca Rowe

This POP Talk features "Comme le Camélia", a photography series by Jamaican photographer Rebecca Rowe exploring strength, resilience, beauty, and Caribbean diasporic identity through the lived experiences of women navigating life between cultures.

The conversation will be accompanied by an exhibition of the series, offering guests the opportunity to experience Rowe’s work beyond the talk. Set against cultivated landscapes and structured spaces in Paris, her images reflect the tension between Caribbean warmth and Europe’s austerity. Combining portraiture, fashion, and fine art, the series explores cultural memory, adaptation, intimacy, and quiet strength through natural light, rich textures, and vibrant color.
