Description

**The Future Awaits Your Return: Where Does an Idea Begin?**

As part of Frieze London, Raggamuffin Curation, Chidi Nwaubani and The Beginning come together at Art’otel for an evening exploring where ideas begin and what happens when we turn them into something tangible.

Hosted and facilitated by curator Rudi Minto de Wijs, the conversation brings together artist Chidi Nwaubani (artist), Josh Proctor (The Beginning), Ruby Wight (nothing.tech) Sami Hayes (Shai Space) as small group of voices from across art, design and contemporary culture to explore the genesis of an idea, from the memories, references and experiences that shape our thinking to the moment an idea becomes an artwork, object or possible solution.

At a time of rapid cultural, social and technological change, the panel asks what role creativity can play in helping us understand and respond to the world around us, while considering whether we look to the past for answers, push towards something entirely new, or find ourselves somewhere between the two.

Taking place at Art’otel during Frieze London, the discussion forms part of a wider exhibition and programme centred around the work of Chidi Nwaubani whch will be on display too.
