Description

Rich Parents Club and Fair Play! are joining forces for a special edition of Parental Guidance, Rich Parents Club's live talk series about how to build a life in the creative industries - when you don’t have rich parents! They're welcoming Kate Nash for an evening of honest conversation, hosted by Rich Parents Club founder, journalist and documentary filmmaker Sydney Lima.

**Doors: 6pm**

20 years ago, Kate Nash was uploading demos to MySpace. Within a year, Foundations was everywhere and her debut album Made of Bricks hit No.1. Since then, the BRIT Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and activist has toured as an independent punk artist, written and starred in Only Gold in New York, and appeared in HBO’s GLOW. In 2025, her trans ally anthem GERM reached the US Billboard charts. Her latest work brings traditional Irish sounds together with punk energy and hip-hop production.

Founded by Sydney Lima, Rich Parents Club is a creative community challenging the barriers facing people without family money or inherited connections. Through Parental Guidance, it shares honest insight, knowledge and confidence to help keep working-class voices alive in the arts.

Fair Play is an independent, ad-free magazine and community made by working-class creatives for working-class creatives. Founded in 2025, it amplifies working-class and underrepresented voices across the UK through honest, accessible conversations about culture, class and the barriers to entering the arts.
