**Kitchen Lover** are a garage-punk four-piece blending raw energy with a splash of sophistication and undeniable flair. Hailing from the ashes of a 1950s punk child, raised in a non-monogamous relationship between The Chats and Dead Kennedys, the band began as a raw-edged two-piece before expanding into the band they are today. Somewhere between the silver sequin floor and questionable-length shorts, you might call it “strip punk,” though others may say pop disguised as garage rock.
With support from Clash, Dork, Punk News, Earmilk and New Noise, alongside airplay on Radio X and Amazing Radio, the band have quickly established themselves as ones to watch following the release of their debut album. Festival appearances include End of the Road, Wilderness, Small World and Circuit Break.
**The Jackson Pollock** are an explosive drums-and-guitar duo from Bologna, delivering breathtaking live shows fuelled by raw, sincere energy - no poses, no déjà vu, just pure, fresh, powerful music. With her drums up front, Emily sings fairy-pop melodies, screams and beats her kit like an entire orchestra possessed by rhythm. Davide floods the air with noise and riffs, a distorted spiral of homemade fuzz and overdrive. Their debut album Today Forever (Rookie Records) blurs punk attitude and dance hits, grind violence and Latin rhythms, riding chaos like a dragon.
