Former journalist Julie Kennedy was fired as an MP's assistant in Parliament in London while she was an intern.
This traumatic event triggered an imposter syndrome that followed her for the rest of her career. Several years later, she discovered the true reason why she was dismissed, a life triggering event that prompted her to become a journalist.
This is a hilarious show about geopolitics, climate change and the media. Born in Saudi Arabia : the world's first oil exporter. Julie also blames herself since her birth brings her back to the end of the world.
She questions her life choices : How can she maintain both a luxurious lifestyle and a limited carbon footprint? How to invest money without greenwashing? How can journalists tell the truth without lying?
She later learns that she's been diagnosed with a deficit in CO2, which she believes makes her the solution to combat climate change. All the stories told in the show are factually true. This is a preview show before Julie performs at the Fringe this summer in Edinburgh.
