Kindred Uncovered x Radical Hotties: Dream Journey

Kindred Uncovered is our bi-monthly music discovery night which is all about celebrating and supporting the next generation of talent - whether you work in the industry, are looking to break into it, or just want to know about the best acts breaking through.

Headlining the evening will be one of our Kindred Uncovered Residents; 5 London-based artists hand-picked by a board of industry experts.

Our headliner for September is Lucy DK, who seeks beauty in the search for healing. With roots from Leicester to Zimbabwe, she’s evolved from a bedroom singer-songwriter into a powerhouse of radically hot pop. Her smart-multilayered sound combines acoustic, anecdotal elegance with sparkling electronic beats and synths, making songs filled with social commentary feel irresistibly uplifting.

Alongside the collective she founded, radical hotties, her music stands as a celebration of the true self amidst the whirlwind of a swipe-right, capitalist world. Now based in South-East London - and having featured in Complex, BBC 1Xtra, Earmilk and Trench — the thread through her artistry is the polished yet vulnerable storytelling for which she's become known.
