PARALYTIC HALLOWEEN: Abduction + Andracca

One of the fastest-rising UK black metal acts of current times, Abduction first surfaced in late 2016 with a three song demo. Attracting the attention of Lithuanian label Inferna Profundus, this one-man project released the debut album 'To Further Dreams Of Failure' in 2017 to positive reviews. Maintaining the momentum, Abduction have released an album a year, with 2018's 'A Crown Of Curses' (released by UK labels Death Kvlt and Clobber) and 2019's 'All Pain As Penance' (released as a co-release by Inferna Profundus and Apocalyptic Witchcraft) boosting the band's profile considerably. Possessing a haunting and spectral quality, while nevertheless making use of big, memorable riffs and emotive songwriting, the result is an otherworldly and atmospheric (but surprisingly visceral and satisfying) black metal assault. Originally performing solo (including at Bloodstock festival) founder A|V has now expanded the band to a full line-up.
