After the success of our Nicer Tuesday in October, we’re bouncing back with an exciting and new line-up. Join us for another knock-out event at EartH Hackney for our November Nicer Tuesdays in London.
At this month’s event, you can expect talks from Felipe Rocha and Leo Porta, founders and creative directors of the New York design agency Porto Rocha, who’ll be speaking about the agency’s new offices in London. You’ll also get to hear from photographer Jennie Baptiste about her new exhibition at Somerset House Jennie Baptiste: Rhythm & Roots. She’ll be discussing her career photographing some of music’s biggest icons – the likes of Nas, Ms Dynamite and Estelle – and capturing the soul and energy of London’s Dancehall scene.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled, as we’re excited to add that more speakers will be announced soon!
Make sure to get down to the event at 6pm when the doors open to have the chance to grab a drink and snack from our sponsors El Rayo and Lovecorn, then the talks will begin at 7.15pm. Alongside our sponsors this month, there will be a musical accompaniment from Epidemic Sound, who will be curating the soundtrack for the evening and will also have a booth where attendees can listen to their catalog and take home some merch.
EartH is a social enterprise committed to supporting new musicians, with music studios in the venue that are completely free for young artists in Hackney to use. Find out more here (https://earthackney.co.uk/about/studio-36/).
Ticket price includes a £1.50 venue restoration levy.
