Description

The London African Gospel Choir is proud to announce the debut of their highly anticipated new show, Bob Marley, a vibrant and soulful celebration of the life and music of the iconic reggae legend. Taking the stage Dingwalls, the show pays homage to Marley’s groundbreaking contributions to music, culture, and social change, reinterpreting his timeless classics through the powerful and uplifting voices of the choir. The choir is usually seen on the big stages, Dingwalls a more intimate setting for them.

The show will feature a setlist bringing Marley's most beloved songs to life with an African gospel twist, including “One Love,” “No Woman, No Cry,” “Redemption Song,” and “Three Little Birds.” The choir’s rich harmonies, rhythmic beats, and infectious energy will create an unforgettable experience for both longtime Marley fans and newcomers alike.

“Bob Marley’s music transcends borders, and we wanted to honour his spirit by blending his legacy with the rich traditions of African gospel music,” said Crystal Kassi, director of the LAGC. “This show is a celebration of his powerful messages of peace, unity, and love—values that are deeply embedded in both reggae and gospel music. We believe this unique fusion will bring something fresh and exhilarating to the stage.”

The London African Gospel Choir, has gained recognition for their hit shows, including The Music of Paul Simon’s Graceland. The choir’s distinctive sound has earned them critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
