Eliades Ochoa

Eliades Ochoa is one of the original members of Buena Vista Social Club, famously lending his lead vocals to the timeless hit ‘Chan Chan’, which still streams millions of times a year and is loved by fans all over the world.

The rugged features, the signature hat, the cowboy boots, and often called ‘Cuba’s Johnny Cash’, it’s easy to see why Eliades Ochoa is considered one of the most renowned Cuban “soneros” of all time.

The Latin GRAMMY winner is a notable celebrator of traditional Cuban music, and one of the best guitarists of his generation. We proudly present the legendary Cuban star and storyteller at Barbican Hall as part of La Linea Festival.
