This event will take place in EartH Theatre.
Liang Lawrence is an emerging singer-songwriter currently making waves in the UK music scene. Her debut EP, Letters to Myself, released in August 2023, highlights her signature mix of indie folk, soft rock, and electronic influences. Having lived in eight countries before the age of 18, Liang’s music reflects a sense of belonging that resonates with listeners across the globe.
Driven by a love for storytelling and self-expression, Liang taught herself to play guitar and write songs from her bedroom, finding in music a way to explore and express life’s messy emotions. Her raw, introspective lyrics and genre-crossing sound have drawn comparisons to artists like Clairo, The Japanese House, beabadoobee, boygenius, and Lizzy McAlpine.
Liang has already performed at a BBC Introducing Showcase and supported acclaimed artists such as Adam Melchor, Will Joseph Cook, Sophie May, Bully, Olive Klug, and New Rules. With her honest songwriting and captivating performances, she is quickly establishing herself as a fresh voice in the indie music scene.
