**0800 Rodeo**
**\+ Terse Affection:** With a stark adherence to the melodramatic, Terse Affection blend the forlorn longing of 50’s/60’s Outlaw Country and Ellie Greenwich-esque sentimentality with the screeching, histrionic cacophony of 80’s Goth and Deathrock. Heartache, loss and pining fuse with despair and desperation in a concoction of overbearing wistfulness; yet congruent and familiar. Avoiding the ensnarement of earnestness it finds a playfulness amidst the desolation. Rollicking Country rhythms, shrill, piercing guitars and sardonic, reaching vocals invite an unease which encompasses and thrills the most base sentiments of the psyche. Goth music for cowboys; Country music for mopey bastards.'
**\+ B Spanks:**
Thursday 16th: Van Zon, Big Long Sun + Charlie Keen's Silver Birch
Friday 17th: Lower Slaughter, Staff Party + Francis Pig
Saturday 18th: 0800 Rodeo, Terse Affection + B.Spanks!
