Our Time Is Now!

Presenting the highly anticipated third daytime party in one of London's most exciting and perfectly formed venues.

Our Time Is Now! is a bi-monthly Saturday afternoon party brought to you by Wah Wah 45s label boss and renowned DJ Dom Servini with special guests joining him for a session for dancers and sedentary music lovers alike, celebrating the music they love. Whether it's disco, dance floor jazz, Northern Soul or even a touch of bruk, house or hip hop, it's all fair game at this new open-minded session.

Rise, at Goldsmiths Student Union, is the perfect venue for this bi-monthly meeting of minds, bodies and souls, with its gorgeous wooden dance floor, bespoke Funktion One sound system and not forgetting a very reasonably priced student bar!

Following on from our first two hugely successful sessions, we do it all over again on Saturday May 24th, kicking off at 1pm, and this time Dom is joined not only by very special guest DJs in the shape of London legend of all things soulful, Marcia Carr, and birthday boy Patrick Forge (Dingwalls) but also by live forward-thinking jazz outfit IKE, flying in direct from Italy to celebrate the release of their new LP, On Higher Dreams, on Wah Wah 45s. IKE will be live on stage at 2pm, so don't be late!

London has spoken and we've listened. We need more parties like this, and the right places to do them, and Rise is just that.

Entry is just £5 in advance, £3 for NUS and a little more on the door.
