Description

Goldie is set to unleash his explosive live show this summer and beyond. The drum’n’bass pioneer – who recently released a 25th anniversary edition of his groundbreaking Timeless album – is preparing for a series of must-see festival gigs and club dates.

It will see Goldie return to the unique two-drummer line-up that helped bring the Timeless album to life with the Heritage Orchestra at his landmark Royal Festival Hall shows nearly a decade ago. As well as drummers Adam Betts and John Blease, the line-up also includes James Davidson – who collaborated with Goldie on last year’s acclaimed Subjective album The Start Of No Regret – and musical director/multi-instrumentalist Matt Calvert, who has worked with Goldie since those legendary Royal Festival Hall gigs. Natalie Williams, the platinum-voiced star of the Goldie vs Ulterior Motive hit I Adore You, and bass synthesist Dan Nicholls complete the line-up.

“I feel like these musicians were born to play my music,” says Goldie. “They get the heart andsoul of it, the raw, street vibes and the super-accelerated technological alchemy of it. There’s no doubt in my mind, these are going to be the most incredible shows we’ve ever done.”

“It’ll be a harder, more club-oriented show this time. We’re plugging directly into the heart of the rave, into the heart of drum’n’bass. Flick the switch and head to the stars – it’s going to go off.”
