Aldwin's creative streak was handed down to him by his father, a Guyanese immigrant with aspirations of becoming an opera singer. His arrival in Britain during the Windrush era continued to inspire Aldwin. In London, he honed his craft as a music programmer/producer while constructing his own recording studio in Covent Garden. A life-long fascination with travel, dance and performance helped Aldwin develop a passion for creating music and performing live. With such varied expertise and experience, Aldwin has plenty of potential and an exciting future as an artist.
A number of record releases have been influenced by Aldwin.
During his recording studio days, he worked with numerous musicians and artists, including the like of:
Joe Casely-Hayford, Mark Morrison, Ashley Slater, Ty, Tony Allen and Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje.
His own productions include The British Dub Funk series vols. 1 & 2, Piece & Niceness, Jazz X, Love Universal, Love & Heaven, Brixton Hill, and many more.
Aldwin brings the wizardry of his studio prowess - live.
His electronica/soul set includes keyboards, synthesizers, groove boxes, and a variety of technical gadgets.
His soulful mastery has already blown audiences away in London, Ibiza, Goa and Bali. Whether the audience is super chilled or dancing full charge, his spine-tingling vocals and jazzy keyboard voicings will set the mood at beach bars, festivals, restaurants and any type venues.
