Slumber Wonder with Bobby Bloomfield

Founded in 2023 by Johan Alexander as a vehicle for the songs he’d accumulated during lockdown, Slumber Wonder has since been bringing their unique mix of alt-country and indie-folk to the London indie-scene in a fittingly relaxed manner. The songwriting is equally indebted to classic 70s songwriting as well as current artists such as Fruit Bats, Wilco and others.

Their nostalgia-tinged debut EP “Third Culture Kid” was released last October to a warm reception. While already back in the studio working on their next release, they’re coming to Morocco Bound to experiment with a slightly more stripped back rendition of the material.
