Embora Sama’ Abdulhadi seja a primeira DJ palestiniana a ganhar reconhecimento internacional, a sua carreira realmente começou quando deixou a sua terra natal para explorar a emergente cena techno de Beirute. Mergulhando na vida noturna do Líbano, Abdulhadi tocou, praticou e inspirou-se em muitos DJs locais e internacionais que atuavam na cena, enquanto refinava o seu estilo característico: techno intenso e enérgico, com uma narrativa distinta, uma ampla gama de emoções, ou, como ela descreve: "techno de Berlim, mas com uma perceção libanesa".

Com pouco mais de quatro anos de carreira internacional, a história de Sama’ Abdulhadi está na vanguarda de um movimento poderoso. Although Sama’ Abdulhadi is the first Palestinian DJ to gain international recognition, her career truly began when she left her homeland to explore Beirut’s emerging techno scene. Immersing herself in Lebanon’s nightlife, Abdulhadi played, practiced, and drew inspiration from many local and international DJs performing in the scene, while refining her signature style: intense and energetic techno with a distinctive narrative, a wide range of emotions, or, as she describes it: "Berlin techno, but with a Lebanese perception."

With just over four years of an international career, Sama’ Abdulhadi’s story is at the forefront of a powerful movement. Her goal has always been to put Palestine on the musical map, and in doing so, she continues to promote international solidarity and a new level of understanding about the Middle East as a whole.
