Oscar Mic headline a rap rock night in Hoxton

Gotobeat is excited to team up with Folklore to welcome OSCAR MIC for their single release show on Wednesday, January 29th.

**OSCAR MIC -** Produced by Gordon Raphael (The Strokes), Oscar Mic is a band that twists you into new shapes. A drummer with a sampler and a singer with a guitar and looper, a bass player with a chip on his shoulder strap. Mixing garage punk and rap with choruses and hooks that nestle deep into your brain!

**THE NARRATOR -** MCR BORN AND BRED, Hiphop artist/spoken word storyteller. An eclectic range of sounds inspired by the likes of: Loyle Carner, Griselda, Little simz and many more. Oh and also the best dressed MC about.

**8TRED DA GR8 -** One of the most creative and innovative artists of the 21st century, South East London Rapper/Producer/Creative Director 8TRED DA GR8 (real name Samson Ajayi) is changing the sound of music in London, along side Benjamin Bailey, Jiggyfromthesouf & Prvx, he helped form 44Deep in 2017 and they released their first track CRE8TIVES which built a fan base for their music and led to them making hits such as TELL ME, BOLLO & BRICK$.
