Dorothy in collaboration with Rough Trade Liverpool present a book signing + In conversation + DJ set with Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton
Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton are authors of the bestselling dance music bible Last Night a DJ Saved My Life: The History of the Disc Jockey, first published in 1999 and recently updated to include new chapters and a foreword by James Murphy.
The night begins with Bill and Frank in conversation with music journalist Jim Ottewill (author of Out of Space: How UK cities shaped rave culture) and finishes with a 3 hour DJ set by the duo.
The event has been organised by Liverpool based design studio Dorothy, in collaboration with Rough Trade Liverpool to accompany the studio’s current exhibition ’The Graphic Art of Disco’.

DJ set: 8pm - 11pm
