Alt-Pop Twin Duo, ROOUE headlines The Waiting Room London with support from the incredible Lydia Shute + Dolly Doops.

ROOUE are an electronic alt-pop twin duo, merging gritty electronic production and dark pop infused stylings. They use glistening harmonization to create an honest and raw insight into love, loss and empowerment from vulnerability.

London and Dublin based, Ro and Lulu grew up in a home warmed by music and creative expression. With a music psychotherapist mother and “jazz nerd” father, their life was soundtracked by everything from soul, jazz, traditional Irish music to electronic experimental pop.

With their recently released debut EP they pay homage to these artists by infusing their own unique flair, crafting a sound that is both familiar and authentic. Despite their recent arrival on the scene, ROOUE’s previous singles have earned them millions of impacts on Irish radio and has achieved number 4 in the Irish Breakers Charts. ROOUE have been titled ‘one of the most exciting emerging acts on the Irish scene’.
