Description

5.18 Magazine is back with our first gig of the year, at the newly re-opened and much anticipated The Piehouse! Tucked into a railway arch in Deptford, this co-operative run venue is a much loved and much needed accessible space in London, and we are more than honoured to be one of the first events celebrating it's comeback!

Kicking off the night will be Ayu Mesi, an experimental multi-genre artist heavily influenced by elements of jungle and hyperpop, but with clear link to the underground punk scene through politics and energy. Usually found playing bass for DIY punk, goth-tango outfit Forrest Flowers, her solo set is not one to miss and really demonstrates her wide range of musical references.

We'll then be joined by an exciting second act, currently being confirmed...

Followed by Brighton & London's own PUSSYLIQUOR. They are such a huge part of both 5.18's community and history, but also a big part in the current underground punk scene - since coming back from hiatus in 2023, the punk band have played across the world in Taiwan and Japan, graced festivals such as Boomtown, and bought consistently sick music and an unforgettable, high energy show to all. Endlessly excited to welcome back The Piehouse with some PUSSYLIQUOR chaos!

Presented by 5.18 Magazine.
