Night Vision is Leeds’ very own DIY spoken word event! We return this June to host fantastic performers.
**Keith Fenton**
A Leeds-based performance poet, event host, broadcaster and one half of the Poets Talking Bollocks podcast. Chiefly writing about borders, migration, trespass, mental health and structural inequality, he can often be found on a road somewhere between events across the North.
**Laura Graham**
A poet and comedian from Leeds. She writes playful poetry that packs a punch about midlife, menopause and the north. She also does fanny jokes. She has been shortlisted for Leeds Poetry Festival Competition, featured on BBC Radio York and performed at the Vagina Festival and Funny Women Awards. She is Hammer and Tongue national slam finalist.
**Lucy Wright**
A Creative Writing PhD researcher in Leeds and works with national organisations giving workshops and lectures on the importance of writing about art. Her prose poems are reflections of her research and articles on artist Francis Bacon, and a keen interest in 20 th century figurative painting.
You can also perform your own spoken word. To book a five- minute slot please email nightvisionleeds@gmail.com or message on Instagram @nightvisionleeds. 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated to PAFRAS, Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers who aims to end destitution, increase access to social justice and advocate for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum in Leeds.
