Vision’s heart, PAFRAS aims to end destitution, increase access to social justice and advocate for the rights of refugees and people seeking asylum in Leeds.
Vic Leeson is a poet, psychotherapist and activist from Rotherham, South Yorkshire working across Yorkshire and beyond to support various communities in exploring and speaking their truths. Vic has performed at Leeds Lit Fest, Leeds Poetry Fest and Counter Point Arts Festival. She has been showcased by Live Wire Poetry supporting Hollie McNish and Maria Ferguson and performed alongside Joelle Taylor, Salena Godden and Toria Garbutt. Vic has written commissions for Clifton Park Museum and the Apna Haq charity and worked with The Poetry Takeaway, WOW Festival, Flux Rotherham and Front Room Poetry. She runs a monthly writing group funded by Flux Rotherham and hosts a bi-monthly open mic for the Spread
The Word project at Rotherham’s Grimm & Co. She is currently published in anthologies from The Scribblers Union Collective and Public Sector Poetry.
