Self Regulating Behaviours is the debut album of Glaswegian spoken word artist Kate Ireland. Through nine raw, candid tracks, Kate works with Sheffield producer Losssy (fka unperson) who weaves spiralling electronic soundscapes around the vocals. The result is a hypnotic and melancholic journey, a collaboration between two over-stimulated pals with a desire to create something unique. Part voice note, part vocal diary, a study of loneliness and selfhood, an attempt to regulate and reflect in a glitched-out world.
