Light and darkness, nature and urbanity, the introspect and extroverted, spirituality versus humanity. Norwegian multi-instrumentalist SYLVAINE’s music is all about balancing out the extreme outer points in sound, showcasing the emotions that arise as a result of feeling like a stranger in this human existence. Ranging from a heavy, contrasted 4 piece band, down to a hyper vulnerable solo format on stage, SYLVAINE is a project based on pure catharsis, revealing the eternal longing for something more residing within its melodies.

In addition to her performances with her live band, SYLVAINE will now also be exploring a more stripped-down way to communicate her music live, bringing her to perform solo on stage, with her voice only accompanied by her guitar and some samples. Music from all of her previous releases will be performed in a new, highly intimate way, to take her listeners on a journey thru her inner world, giving them a dynamic experience ranging from very minimalistic versions of her tracks to the ever- ethereal lush sound layers that she is known for. An experience that is driven by pure emotion and the want to communicate with the souls of each listener in the audience, SYLVAINE's live solo performances come off just as intense as her performances with her live band, but wrapped in a far more vulnerable packaging.
