**BEN MAIER**

Formerly of London’s goth-grunge outfit TEAR (O Genesis, Tim Burgess), as a solo artist Hastings-based Ben Maier has discovered the power of heartfelt and sincere guitar-driven songwriting. Sincerity for Ben is Americana-heartland rock, sweat and smiles, the fist-pumping end credits soundtrack to John Hughes' Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink, Huey Lewis & The News, Tina Turner and The Boss. Backed by his powerhouse band, Ben Maier is the modern take on that big hopeful, anthemic sound. He returns to his home from home, Paper Dress Vintage, for the launch of his new EP.

**GABI GARBUTT**

Part punk poet, part art pop multi-instrumentalist, Gabi Garbutt’s music has been championed by radio DJs such as BBC6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, Cerys Matthews and Chris Hawkins, and Radio X’s John Kennedy, as well as fellow musicians such as Ezra Furman, Pete Doherty, Frank Turner and Du Blonde, the latter inviting Gabi to release an E.P on her label Daemon T.V and collaborating on the lead track ‘Panic.

She's supported The Boomtown Rats at the London Palladium, Big Country on tour and Gracie Petrie.
