WONK: Lau.ra, Gardna, Joe Sonar and Surya Sen

This month, Wonk is bringing the energy back to The Social with a special celebration! We’re marking the upcoming release of lau.ra & Gardna’s massive new single Live Your Life while spotlighting one of our stellar Wonk residents—Surya Sen. Known for his electrifying sets and dynamic live presence, Surya Sen has worked with Wonk favorites BRUX, Barry Can’t Swim, Bontan, Lawrence Guy, Sasha GiGi, and lau.ra herself. We also welcome all the way from Bristol: Gardna.

Gardna is a master of fusing sounds from across the sound system spectrum—his genre-blending style has taken him from underground clubs to major festival stages worldwide. He is now a staple at Glastonbury and Boomtown. You may have seen him deliver a legendary set at Printworks, Drumsheds or XOYO as he continues his unstoppable rise. With BBC Radio 1’s backing, high-profile collaborations with Eats Everything, Toddla T, Sigma, and Gentleman’s Dub Club, and a live show that’s built for both intimate raves and main stages, Gardna is set to bring the heat.

As always, Wonk is about big tunes in a small basement. A free-entry night celebrating the best in wonky house, UKG, tech house, and breaks, with a focus on elevating women, trans, and non-binary artists while welcoming everyone with an open mind. Come get wonky.
