Black Country, New Road are releasing their new studio album Forever Howlong on Ninja Tune! This album marks their first studio release since Ants From Up There in 2022, following their Mercury Prize-nominated debut For The First Time and last year’s Live At Bush Hall. Now, with their third studio album, the band starts anew, undergoing yet another remarkable musical transformation.

The highly anticipated new album was produced by James Ford (of Simian Mobile Disco, known for his work with Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, and Blur) and presents Black Country, New Road in a fresh form. Vocal duties – along with much of the songwriting – are shared between Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery, and May Kershaw.

Forever Howlong is an ambitious, intricately crafted album that spans folk, prog, baroque pop, and a touch of alt-rock – with influences reminiscent of Joanna Newsom, Randy Newman, Fiona Apple, and Janis Ian – while maintaining the distinctive, unique sound that only this collective of musicians can create. Despite its diversity and depth, the album feels cohesive and focused, seamlessly blending three distinct voices and styles into a unified, new collective sound.

Presented by Rough Trade Europe.
