MB x Threadsnake Open Mic ft. Rica Minami

Come down to the most gentle open mic in town... Grab your instruments, warm up your vocals or just sip a beer and listen! Threadsnake Collective presents to you their monthly acoustic-folk open mic and and this month, for a chilled out Easter Monday special, they will be blessed by Rica Minami, a London and Japan based singer, songwriter, pianist, and improvisation artist...

Rica was formerly the band leader of Tori Tori Bird and now, as a solo-artist, she explores the essence of sound, using her voice as an instrument to create primal, intuitive, expressive melodies. She has been described as a one-person choir and sound meditation who's free-spirited performances evoke a deep and emotional landscape. Rica has performed at our Thread Snake Open mic before, and her spontaneity never fails to refresh our souls... If you don't have a song to play, at least come and join Rica in her sonic visions!

The much appreciated £3 entry fee will go towards the growth of Morocco Bound and the tiniest Psychfolk snake in the world...
