Alien Nosejob: The Australian Shape-Shifters of Rock
Alien Nosejob began as the brainchild of Jake Robertson—an Australian musical polymath known for his work with acts like Ausmuteants, Frowning Clouds, Smarts, and School Damage. Originally conceived as a solo project to sidestep the complexities of managing a full band, Alien Nosejob has since evolved into a full-fledged four-piece force, delivering its eclectic sounds from down under to stages across the world.
With a prolific discography spanning a dozen releases, Alien Nosejob refuses to be pigeonholed. From the lo-fi bedroom punk and new-wave stylings of Paint It Clear, to the raw, unrelenting hardcore of Once Again The Present Becomes The Past, to the uncannily AC/DC-inspired riffs of Stained Glass, and the cheekily genre-defying Buffet of Love, the project showcases Robertson's uncanny knack for shape-shifting between styles while maintaining a cohesive artistic identity.
Now on tour as a full band, Alien Nosejob’s live performances bring to life the variety and inventiveness of one of rock’s premier home-recording auteurs. Whether you're drawn in by curiosity about kangaroo-related trivia or the effects of jet lag on Australian musicians, you'll stay for the infectious energy and undeniable hits that have cemented Alien Nosejob as one of the most distinctive voices in modern rock.
