Psychopathy is a complex and often misunderstood psychological disorder that has long fascinated researchers and the public alike.In this talk you will learn all about the characteristics and behaviours associated with psychopathy. From exploring the biological, psychological and environmental factors to examining the role of empathy and emotional processing, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of psychopaths. We will also raise important questions such as: can a psychopath ever be cured? Are some people destined to be psychopaths? Join us as we explore this fascinating topic.

*Dee Anand is a Chartered Forensic Psychologist and has been practising in the field for over 20 years. He has led Forensic Psychology with an unprecedented 2 terms as Chair of the National Division of Forensic Psychology, and has held the position of Chair of every professional board in Forensic Psychology at the British Psychological Society. He is currently Head of Qualification in Forensic Psychology at the British Psychological Society. His research on psychopathy was conducted at Broadmoor Hospital, a high-security psychiatric institution, where he investigated the PCL-R model of psychopathy.*
