Lewisham Libraries and Chaos Theory present *Echoes Off the Pages*, a series of free music events bringing inspiring sounds to new audiences. Combining captivating experimental musical performances with workshops, talks and demonstrations, *Echoes Off the Pages* allows audiences to experience unconventional sounds and gain insight into the techniques, instruments, and artistic vision behind the music they're hearing.
**Kate Arnold**'s music is based around the hammered dulcimer and bowed string instruments, with live-looping and real-time electronic effects. Classically trained in violin, vocals and composition, her musical activity is eclectic. She released the album *Fairy Tale Ending* with her "punk baroque" ensemble Fear Of The Forest in 2016, and a two-part electro-medievalist album, *ROTA FORTUNAE I* and *I*I, in 2020 and 2021. She is now working on a new album drawing partly on material encountered during her current PhD research on medieval French songs and Arabic poems.
Lewisham Libraries and Chaos Theory prioritise accessibility, creating a judgment-free atmosphere where neurodivergent audiences can engage with music on their own terms. All ages are welcome to enjoy these family-friendly afternoon events.
