Detroit In Effect (D.I.E.) stands as one of the most respected names in electro from Detroit, known for a raw, funk-infused sound that captures the true essence of the Motor City. Active since the '90s, his style blends electro, techno, rap and funk with an unmistakably street-driven attitude. Founder of M.A.P. Records, he’s behind cult tracks like "R U Married" and "I Wanna Be U", and has released music through labels like Clone. His live sets are high-voltage sessions filled with groove, ghetto tech and pure electro energy. He’s left his mark at iconic venues and festivals such as Berghain, Dekmantel, Tresor and Sónar.
