Our fourth edition of Zaperoco is here — and esta vez we’re doing things differently: live music, deeper roots, and a new North London location Unit 58! 💥 From the streets of the Colombian Caribbean to the ancestral heartbeat of the drum — this is where Afro-Colombian rhythms meet the vibrant energy inspired by picotero culture.

🔊 Live bullerengue from Akolá Tambó, UK’s first bullerengue collective, joined by master percussionist Álvaro Llerena Martínez, son of legend Petrona Martínez.

Dare Balogun — DJ and producer exploring Africa’s rich dance music heritage — from Highlife to Soukous and Makossa — reconnecting rhythms to global dance floors.

Galletas Calientes — producer known for blending Afro-Latin rhythms with fresh, dancefloor-ready sounds.

Disco Tamarindo — Colombian duo debuting with a joyful, picó-inspired session.

Our own Amancai — founder of Zaperoco, weaving Champeta, Soukous, Salsa, Cumbia, and diasporic heat into high-energy, spirit-driven sets.
